Zip Stitch Wound Closure Device

The Wound Closure Device is made of medical nonwoven tape or PU film, a pair of polypropylene hasps and a liner. The tape is a porous non-woven backing coated with a pressure-sensitive hypoallergenic adhesive. The main body of the device is a pair of polypropylene hasps that are designed to allow a tight closure of the wound for early healing.

The ribbon is to assist application of tension between the two sides of the device. Wound Closure Device is indicated to close acute wounds such as lacerations and surgical incisions. Wound Closure Device may also be used in conjunction with skin sutures for large wounds to stop bleeding, clean and disinfect the wounds. If it’s a deep wound, necessary subcutaneous suture operation can be performed according to local clinical procedures. Clean and dry the skin and wound around and make skin of wound edges as neatly as possible
